Quick start

Notion AI is included in all Notion plans for free during preview (limits apply). Notion AI add-on $10/user/mo unlocks full usage.
Click "AI" button on any text block → choose "Ask AI to write / summarize / translate / action items."
For documents: highlight text → ask AI to extract action items, generate TL;DR, simplify, or change tone.
Custom Agents (GA 2026): click "Agents" in the sidebar → pick or build → assign to a page → the agent reads Notion + connected apps (Slack, Google Drive, etc.).
Q&A: type "/" → "AI" → "Ask Notion" → ask in natural language; Notion searches all accessible pages.
Database AI: select a database → click "AI" → auto-fill properties (status summaries, tags, next-action suggestions).

Pick it if You're a team whose knowledge base already lives in Notion — wikis, project trackers, meeting notes — and you want an AI that can search it all and run automations across connected apps.

Skip it if You need enterprise document governance outside Notion (Microsoft 365 Copilot lives in Teams/SharePoint). For pure creative writing/grammar, Grammarly is more direct.
